Kingsoft Joins Microsoft Virus Information Alliance Becoming the First Chinese Member

(June 22, 2009 – Hong Kong) Kingsoft Corporation Limited (“Kingsoft” or the “Company”; SEHK stock code: 03888), a leading entertainment and applications software developer, distributor and service provider in China by market share, today announced that it joins Microsoft Virus Information Alliance (“VIA”), becoming the first Chinese anti-virus software provider in the alliance.Jointly participated by Microsoft and internationally renowned anti-virus companies (including Trends and Symantec, etc.), VIA is a professional platform aimed at enhancement of computer security. Kingsoft and 17 leading anti-virus companies in VIA will share information on computer viruses, and Microsoft’s updates on vulnerabilities.
